Willie arrived around 4:00 pm on June 20, 2005...12 months and 12 days from the date Claire was bred to Casper. Mike was on the scene to ably assist in the uncomplicated and very fast delivery. Within minutes, Willie was up and bouncing around. I guess when you stay in the oven that long, you come out well done!

Like all our jack foals, Willie's official name comes from a tree...the gorgeous weeping willow.

This nice young jack is listed on our For Sale page.

Tulip Hill Willow ("Willie")
Dillard's Little Casper x Deer Valley's Claire
Approximately 22" tall, 25 lbs at birth

Photos below are Willie at just over 12 hours of age

Wonder who that other little spotted guy is?

How come my mom won't let me meet the other kid on the block?!
(That's Willow & Claire on the left, Frankie & Slipper on the right, and in the
background is Breezy, who's next in line to foal as you can probably tell!)
For a sense of scale, notice the size of the donkeys relative to our rooster.

MOM! Stop steering me away from that other kid!

Well...maybe she'll let me meet this other lady donkey...

Darn it. She is so bossy.

And I don't know what the heck she sees in THAT stuff.

The stuff I eat is much better, but it sure makes me pee a lot!
